Are my agent conversations kept?

01Why they are kept

Conversations are stored so we can see where the agent answers badly and fix it. They are not used to train AI models and they are not used for marketing.

02How long

Your account settings carry the choice, and it is yours alone: a business cannot set it for you. If you ask without an account, your words are kept for 45 days.

Keep

Conversations stay until you delete them. This is the default.

90 days or 45 days

The words are removed after that long.

Never

Nothing is kept, and choosing it deletes what is already there straight away.

03Deleting them yourself

Clear chat deletes the words of one chat straight away, and your next message starts a fresh one. It sits beside the message box in Chat. Choosing Never in your account settings deletes every conversation you hold.

04What deletion removes

The words are deleted. A record that the conversation happened, and how much it cost to answer, is kept, because that is what the business is billed on.
