Email and password, Google, or Apple.

01Available providers

Sign in with an email address and password, or with Google or Apple. The same three appear on the sign-up form — whichever you pick becomes how you sign in from then on.

02Guests and upgrades

If you started as a guest and create a new account, your guest session is upgraded in place and your data is preserved. If you sign in to an account that already exists instead, that guest session is not thrown away — it stays available in the account switcher alongside the account you just signed into.

03Verifying your email

Password accounts are asked to confirm their email address, and Account settings tells you plainly when it is still unconfirmed, with buttons to resend the mail or re-check. Some features stay limited until it is done.
