Paying, and what happens after

Paying from your own bank with Akahu, paying on site, and where the order goes.

01Two ways to pay

A business can accept payment through Akahu, on site, or both. Pay with Akahu moves the money from your own bank account: your bank opens, you approve the payment there, and the checkout confirms once it settles. There are no card fees because there is no card. Pay on site or on delivery places the order with nothing charged online, and you pay the business directly. Paying with Akahu needs a signed in account. Signed out, you leave your name and email, the order is placed, and the business records your payment when you pay them.

02GST

Prices are GST inclusive. The checkout prints the GST share only when the business is GST registered.

03After you pay

The order lands with the business as an item in its flow, which is where they work on it. Your confirmation and anything the business sends you follow from there.
