Creating or joining an organisation
Start from scratch, from an NZBN lookup, or request to join.
01Create
Create an organisation by hand, or from an NZBN lookup — the official register fills in the legal name, type and registration details so they match what the government holds. You become the owner.
02Join
Search for an existing organisation and request to join. An owner or admin approves the request and assigns your role at the same time. An organisation only turns up in that search if it has chosen to accept join requests, so a private organisation is not merely un-joinable — it is invisible to the search.
03Belonging to more than one
You can belong to several organisations at once and switch between them from the organisation switcher. Only one is active at a time, and everything you see — flows, forms, offerings, your time — belongs to whichever that is.
