Transferring ownership and deleting an organisation
The two actions that cannot be taken back casually.
01Transferring ownership
An owner can hand the organisation to another member. They become the owner and you become an admin — the organisation is never left without one. There has to be somebody to hand it to, so invite them first. Transfer asks you to re-verify your sign-in and confirm before it goes through.
02Deleting
Deleting an organisation permanently removes it and its data, and only an owner can do it. It asks for confirmation because there is no undo — if you only want to stop being found, turn off Visible in search under Organisation Settings → Public profile instead.
03Leaving
Leaving is the members’ version. Whether it happens immediately or files a request for an admin depends on the organisation’s auto-leave setting.
