Creating a form, step by step
Every step of the form wizard, the six shapes and their preset questions, and where a form attaches.
01What is this form for?
The name is required. Name it the way a customer would read it, because they see it above the questions. The form type presets the questions: General and Contact start with name, email and a message; Booking adds a preferred day; Service asks what needs doing; Careers asks about the person; Feedback starts with a rating. Repicking the type replaces the questions only while they are still untouched presets. Questions you have edited survive a repick.
02Description and image
This step is optional. The description is a line of context, a good place to say what happens after they send it. The image shows above the questions and on your page.
03Build your form
Rename, retype, add or remove questions. Every question needs a label, and the form needs at least one question. Ask only what you need.
04The last step: where it goes
The form is already saved from the steps you continued through. Publish it now or keep it as a draft; either way it is in your forms. The step also asks which flows take it in. A form lives on your page through those flows, and one form may feed several. Pick any that take submissions, or create one here preset with three stages.
