The notification center, and what lands in it.
01The notification center
The bell in the top bar carries your unread count and opens the inbox beside your work; the full page shows the same rows with more room. Both read the same list.
02What lands there, and what does not
Things you would want to find again land in the inbox and stay until you read them — payment outcomes, booking confirmations, billing alerts, a timer you left running. Passing status messages are toasts: they say “Saved” and disappear. They are not kept, and that is deliberate — an inbox full of “Saved” is an inbox nobody reads.
03Marking as read
Opening a notification marks it read; Mark all read clears the count in one go. Only genuinely unread items are stamped, so the count never lies about what you looked at.
