How do I upgrade my plan?
Choose a tier, connect your bank, and approve the payment consent.
01Open the plans
Plans in your account menu shows the catalogue to everyone, signed in or not. Managing a plan happens in Settings under Plan & Billing — a permission of its own that sits with the owner by default, so the tab is simply absent for everyone else.
02What checkout asks
Checkout runs in steps: pick the plan, review what it costs, connect a bank if you have not, approve the payment consent, and confirm. You can see where you are at every point and go back.
03Connect your bank
Bank approval always happens on Akahu’s own secure page. Your banking credentials are never shared with us.
04Approve the consent
You approve one ongoing payment consent so the subscription can renew without asking every month. It carries explicit limits — a cap per payment and a cap per period — and we can only ever charge within them. If a consent you already granted covers the new total, checkout says so and reuses it rather than asking again.
05Starting from Free
Free is the plan you are on when there is no subscription at all. Nothing needs cancelling to be on it, and nothing is charged.
