Setting up your profile page
Write it yourself or generate it from your verified website, then decide what the page shows.
01Where it lives
Everything about the page sits in Organisation Settings → Public profile: the handle, the visibility switches, the two page images, an accent colour, and drill-ins for Content, Links, Tags and Closures. The handle is your public address — the page is served at /nz/your-handle. Renaming it frees the old handle for anyone to claim, and old links and QR codes will not follow.
02Content
Content holds the writing your page is built from: a short summary, the description underneath, and two optional answers — access notes for “how do I get there?” and a cancellation policy shown when someone asks about cancelling. If your domain is verified, Generate drafts the summary and description from your own website. The result streams straight into the form as unsaved changes — you read it, fix what it got wrong, and save. Nothing is published on your behalf.
03Visible in search
One switch decides whether your organisation has a live public page and appears in search. It stays locked until the summary and description are filled in, because an entry with nothing to read helps nobody who finds it. Once you are visible, the panel shows your page address with Copy link and View beside it. Switch it off at any time to take the page down again.
04Contact details are their own switch
Show contact details on the page is a second, separate decision. Until it is on, the page keeps your street address, map point, email, phone and company size to itself — being findable and being contactable that precisely are different questions, and each has its own switch.
05Images, links and tags
The page carries two named images, uploaded right on the panel: a banner (ideal 1600 × 400) and a card image (ideal 800 × 600). Remove one and the page falls back to what it derives anyway — the guidance is advice, not a gate. If your domain is verified, images can also be imported from your website into the media library in one go. Links are the navigation entries pointing back at your own site’s pages, and Tags are up to six short labels shown on the page. Categories — the shelves your catalogue is grouped by — are managed from the offering editor’s Manage button.
06Being a venue
Owners and admins can mark the organisation as a venue. That is an offer to the rest of the platform: other organisations can then pick you in a Venue form field. It is off unless you turn it on.
