Tracking and submitting your week

Timers, manual entries and the Monday-anchored week.

01Two sources

Item timers land here when they stop — you have one running timer, so starting one elsewhere stops the last. Manual entries cover everything a timer missed, with or without a flow item attached.

02Adding an entry by hand

An entry takes a date, a start and an end, and optionally the flow item it belongs to. Billable is on by default and is what decides whether the hours reach the billable export. When the work is paid by the piece rather than the hour, add the units — the clock time on those rows is information, not the basis for pay.

03The week

Weeks run Monday to Sunday in your organisation’s local time, and you can page back through earlier ones.

04Submitting

Submitting locks the week’s entries and hands them to whoever approves. Totals are recomputed server-side at that point, including any minimum-wage top-up, so the figure that goes for approval is the figure the server stands behind rather than the one the browser added up.
